Georgia Hunter Bell won European 1500m gold in Birmingham on 16 August, clocking 4:07.78 after a 58.44-second final 400m that won by ten metres. The 32-year-old's third major title of 2026 — adding to world indoor 1500m and Commonwealth 800m gold — completes a sweep across two distances and three competitions. Poland's Klaudia Kazimierska took silver.
