Alex Cooper Poised to Drop UTA Days After Unwell's $500M Valuation

Alex Cooper is preparing to leave her talent agency UTA, Variety reported on 16 August 2026, citing a person familiar with the matter. UTA helped scale Cooper's production company Unwell, brokering deals including her Peacock interviews during the 2024 Paris Olympics. The split follows Unwell's first outside investment — from WME co-founder Patrick Whitesell's firm WTSL — at a $500 million valuation. UTA declined to comment.
