Macinnes leads wire-to-wire for 200m butterfly gold in Paris lifetime best

Great Britain's Keanna Macinnes won women's 200m butterfly gold at the 2026 European Aquatics Championships in Paris, leading at every turn in a lifetime best. She closed the final 50 metres in 33.58 — her slowest split — but the cushion held. Observers at the pool called the swim "gutsy" (SwimSwam, 16 August).
