Sorvino and Kudrow return for 'Romy and Michele 2' at 20th Century Studios

Mira Sorvino and Lisa Kudrow will reprise their roles in "Romy and Michele 2," in development at 20th Century Studios and previewed at D23 in Anaheim on 16 August 2026, Deadline reports. The sequel arrives nearly 30 years after the 1997 Touchstone original. Both stars serve as executive producers. Returning cast includes Alan Cumming, Janeane Garofalo, Camryn Manheim and Julia Campbell; Rob Huebel and Keegan-Michael Key join.
