Russian Strikes Hit Kyiv Market; Both Sides Report Civilian Deaths

Russian strikes on August 16 injured six at a Kyiv book-and-poster market in the Obolonskyi district and killed five across Ukraine, the BBC reports. Firefighters deployed 26 personnel to contain the blaze. Russian officials said seven were killed by Ukrainian strikes on Russian territory.
