Coventry agree £17m deal for Forest striker Awoniyi ahead of Premier League return

Coventry have agreed a £17m deal for Nottingham Forest striker Taiwo Awoniyi, expected to be completed before Friday's Premier League opener at Arsenal — their first top-flight match in 25 years. Awoniyi, 23 goals in 103 Forest games, fell behind Chris Wood and Igor Jesus last season, starting just three matches. Haji Wright's injury has left Frank Lampard short up front.
