Kingdom Hearts 4 dated for late 2027 across Switch 2, PS5, Xbox and PC; directors reject delay rumours

Square Enix confirmed Kingdom Hearts IV for Nintendo Switch 2, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S and PC in late 2027. At D23 in Anaheim, series creator Tetsuya Nomura said online speculation of a delay is "not happening"; co-director Tai Yasue called the window a "100% thing." A Coco world and a Disney+ animated series were also announced.
