Investors sue Selena Gomez, allege Wondermind "quietly collapsed" after $1.2 million raised

Five investors filed a federal lawsuit on 13 August 2026 against Selena Gomez, her mother Mandy Teefey and Wondermind, seeking return of $1.2 million plus damages. The complaint alleges the mental health startup "quietly collapsed" and failed to pay employees and vendors. Gomez's attorney Mathew Rosengart called the claims "meritless" and is filing a motion to dismiss. No findings of fraud have been made.
