Disney+ adds vertical short-form video, calling the format 'Verts'

At D23 in Anaheim on 14 August, Disney's Eric Schrier called the company's "Verts" push — vertical, portrait-oriented short-form clips on Disney+ — a significant investment. Erin Teague said long-form originals will not be replaced but supplemented by shorter clips. Disney also announced a TikTok pact letting fans create clips with authorised Disney IP.
