Amy Hunt completes European sprint treble in Birmingham, first woman since Asher-Smith in 2018

Amy Hunt won the 100m, 200m and 4x100m relay at the 2026 European Athletics Championships in Birmingham, completing a treble no woman had managed since Dina Asher-Smith in 2018. The 100m gold was Hunt's first senior international title. She held off Asher-Smith and Rhasidat Adeleke over 200m, with Asher-Smith taking silver. Hunt anchored the relay quartet of Asher-Smith, Henry and Neita to gold.
