Rashford returns: eight months after Amorim exile, forward back in United shirt

Marcus Rashford played for Manchester United for the first time since 12 December 2024, coming on as a second-half substitute in a 4-2 pre-season defeat to AC Milan in Wrocław. The 28-year-old was frozen out by then-head coach Ruben Amorim and loaned to Aston Villa and Barcelona. Amorim now manages Milan. United's Premier League campaign begins at Hull.
