Hathaway calls for automatic R rating for any film that kills a dog

Anne Hathaway told Complex that any film in which a dog dies should automatically receive an R rating from the Motion Picture Association, regardless of language or violence. Current MPA guidelines weigh violence, language, drug use and sexual content; animal harm alone does not trigger an R.
