Bournemouth admitted they "should have handled this better" after a matchday staff member of nearly 60 years was told by four-paragraph email that his contract would not be renewed. A post on X called the approach "disgusting." The club, citing stadium safety changes, has offered the car-park worker a role elsewhere and is contacting all affected staff.
