Newcastle in advanced talks for Benfica's Dedic as fee gap remains

Newcastle are in advanced talks with Benfica to sign Bosnia right-back Amar Dedic for around £30m, per the BBC. Sky Sport reports personal terms are agreed on a deal to 2031; the fee is the main obstacle. With Trippier gone to Wolves and Livramento injured, Dedic could face Liverpool on 23 August if signed.
