BBC seeks to subpoena Trump Jr, Ivanka Trump and Kushner in $10 billion defamation case

On 14 August 2026 the BBC asked a US federal judge to let it subpoena Donald Trump Jr, Ivanka Trump and Jared Kushner in its defence against President Trump's $10 billion defamation suit over a Panorama documentary edit of his 6 January 2021 speech. The broadcaster says all three have personal knowledge of his intentions that day. Trial is set for February 2027.
