Scanlon set for Cardiff return as Liverpool finalize new contract

Calum Scanlon is set to re-join Cardiff City on loan for 2026/27, with Liverpool reportedly finalizing a new contract for the 20-year-old left-back before the move goes through, per This Is Anfield. Scanlon spent part of last season at Cardiff after a back injury cut short an earlier Millwall loan. Liverpool want him settled where he can play regularly.
