Simpsons creator Matt Groening says Hit & Run is "coming back in some form" at D23

At Disney's D23 convention in Anaheim on 15 August 2026, Simpsons creator Matt Groening told an audience, "I think the original game is coming back in some form," referring to The Simpsons: Hit & Run (2003, PS2/GameCube/Xbox). Showrunner Matt Selman added "Or… not." No remaster or remake has been officially announced.
