Brazilian director Nascimento sets 'A Chocolate Christmas' for Christmas 2027 theatrical release via H2O Films

Paulo Nascimento will direct "A Chocolate Christmas," a Portuguese-language romantic drama set during Natal Luz de Gramado, the Guinness-recognised longest-running Christmas festival. Accorde Filmes and H2O Films produce; Rose Pictures co-produces. H2O Films, a leading Brazilian independent, will open the film locally in the 2027 Christmas season, Variety reported. Nascimento announced the project at a Gramado Film Festival panel.
