Stripe and Advent Renew PayPal Acquisition Talks Above Rejected $60.50 Bid

Stripe and Advent International are renegotiating to acquire PayPal above the $60.50 per share offer PayPal's board rejected in July, the Wall Street Journal reports. The pair have $17 billion in equity assembled and could announce a deal within weeks. PayPal traded near historic lows before the initial bid, down roughly $320 billion from its pandemic peak.
