Kingdom Hearts 4 gets late-2027 release window at D23

Disney confirmed at D23 in California that Kingdom Hearts 4 will release in late 2027, roughly five years after Square Enix first teased the game in 2022. The presentation also revealed a world based on Pixar's Coco and confirmed launch availability on Nintendo Switch 2. An anime series for Disney+ and Disney Channel was announced separately, with no release date.
