Disney slots live-action Tangled for 31 March 2028, shows first footage at D23

Disney has dated its live-action Tangled for theatrical release on 31 March 2028, announcing the slot at its D23 fan event at the Honda Center in Anaheim, where first footage was also screened. Michael Gracey directs; Teagan Croft, Milo Manheim and Kathryn Hahn star. The 2010 animated original grossed $607.6 million worldwide, per Deadline.
