Peter Sohn directs Incredibles 3 as Brad Bird exits the director's chair

Peter Sohn directs Pixar's *Incredibles 3*, taking over from Brad Bird, who wrote and directed the first two films, Variety reported on 15 August 2026. Bird remains as screenwriter. Sohn previously directed *Elemental* and *The Good Dinosaur*. The film opens 16 June 2028. The *Incredibles* franchise has grossed over $1.8 billion worldwide.
