Paul Wright's "Mission," starring George MacKay and Rosy McEwen, will have its world premiere in competition at the Edinburgh International Film Festival, Variety reports. A BFI 2025 "Great 8" selection at Cannes, the Early Day Films–65 Wilding Films co-production is backed by BBC Film, Screen Scotland and Ffilm Cymru Wales. Blue Finch Films handles worldwide sales.
