Swiatek ends 11-month title drought in Canada, then dedicates it to those facing "unfair judgment and hate"

Iga Swiatek beat Elena Rybakina in straight sets to win the Canadian Open — her first title in 11 months and first with a new coach. Swiatek dedicated the win to "everyone dealing with unfair judgment and hate," saying the criticism during her drought came mostly from Polish viewers and media. Asked if it was social-media related, she replied: "Well, if you would be Polish, you would know."
