Wendi McLendon-Covey joins Romy and Michele sequel cast

Wendi McLendon-Covey has joined the cast of 20th's Romy and Michele sequel, Deadline reported on 14 August 2026. The Hulu Original, shooting in Los Angeles since June, brings back Lisa Kudrow and Mira Sorvino alongside Alan Cumming, Janeane Garofalo, Camryn Manheim and Julia Campbell. Tim Federile directs from a script by original writer Robin Schiff. A release date has not been set.
