The Reytons land second U.K. No. 1 album without a major label

The Reytons' fourth album 'A Love Letter to a Broken Town' topped the U.K. Official Albums Chart published August 14, 2025, giving the Rotherham indie band their second No. 1 after 2023's 'What's Rock and Roll?'. Both were self-released. Frontman Jonny Yerrell claimed the record may be the first No. 1 album to receive zero mainstream radio plays; the Official Charts Company has not confirmed that.
