
Ken Burns cut Jefferson and Hamilton lines from The American Revolution over Trump-era parallels
Ken Burns told the Edinburgh International Film Festival on 14 August that he removed passages from his six-part series The American Revolution in which Thomas Jefferson asked, "What if someone should lose an election but pretend false votes?" and Hamilton warned, "No man is above the law." Burns said he pulled the lines after Trump's re-election because "people are gonna say I put that in."
