Disney says it is done with movie tie-in games, pointing to Marvel's Wolverine as the model ahead

Disney's EVP of Global Games Sean Shoptaw said the company wants original games that tell new stories, not movie tie-ins. He cited Marvel's Wolverine, developed by Insomniac Games and arriving in September, as the model. Marvel Tōkon: Fighting Souls is also in development. The shift was announced in a Disney blog post ahead of D23.
