Oscilloscope Buys US Rights to Ann Oren's 'Objet a' Ahead of Locarno Premiere

Oscilloscope Laboratories acquired US rights to Ann Oren's "Objet a" ahead of its world premiere in the main competition at the 2026 Locarno Film Festival, Variety reported on 21 July. The 95-minute feature — a German-Luxembourgish-Greek co-production produced by Schuldenberg Films — follows Oren's 2022 debut "Piaffe," which also premiered in Locarno's headline competition. No domestic release date is set.
