Busan Sets 31st Festival Dates; Founder Kim Dong-ho to Receive Korean Cinema Award at Opening

The 31st Busan International Film Festival runs October 6–15 at the Busan Cinema Center and city venues, with the 21st Asian Contents & Film Market — the trade component where sales agents and buyers transact — set for October 10–13. BIFF will present founding director Kim Dong-ho the Korean Cinema Award at the October 6 opening ceremony (Variety, 14 August 2026).
