Amy Hunt, 24, won the women's 100m on day one and the 200m on day four at the 2026 European Athletics Championships in Birmingham, becoming the meet's first home champion. She beat Ireland's Rhasidat Adeleke and Britain's Dina Asher-Smith in the 200m. Hunt was also chasing an unprecedented four-gold quadruple — a feat no British sprinter has achieved.
