
Tanzid scores Bangladesh's first Test century in Australia
Tanzid Hasan Tamim became the first Bangladesh batter to score a Test century in Australia, reaching 101 off 197 balls in only his second Test, at Marrara Oval in Darwin. The 24-year-old opener shared stands of 102 with Mominul Haque (49) and 93 with captain Najmul Hossain Shanto (84). Bangladesh closed day two on 351-6, a lead of 153 after Hasan Mahmud's 6-55 had bowled Australia out for 198.
