Former WB director: fiscal calendar sank War in the North against Skyrim

Former WB Games design director Christian Allen said The Lord of the Rings: War in the North was shipped in November 2011 — 15 days before Skyrim — to meet Warner Bros' fiscal period, not a favourable release window. Allen told VGC he argued against the timing but was overruled; the game received roughly one review at launch.
