Sarajevo Film Festival opens 32nd edition with Pawlikowski's "Fatherland"

The 32nd Sarajevo Film Festival runs 14–21 August 2026, opening with Paweł Pawlikowski's "Fatherland" starring Sandra Hüller and closing with a restored print of the Oscar-winning "No Man's Land." Honorary Heart of Sarajevo awards go to Emily Watson, Asghar Farhadi, Diego Luna, and Woody Harrelson. Watson also heads the competition jury (The Hollywood Reporter, 2026-08-14).
