Australian golfer Jessica Bang dies at 18 after brain haemorrhage in Thailand

Australian professional golfer Jessica Bang has died aged 18, her family confirmed on 13 August. Bang collapsed on 1 August while preparing for a tournament in Thailand, was rushed to a Bangkok hospital and underwent emergency brain surgery. She spent nearly two weeks on life support before succumbing to a brain haemorrhage. The WPGA Tour of Australasia called her an outstanding young talent.
