
Busan Film Festival to honour founder Kim Dong-ho with Korean Cinema Award
BIFF will present its founder Kim Dong-ho, 88, with the Korean Cinema Award at the 31st edition's opening ceremony on October 6 at the Busan Cinema Center. Kim established BIFF in 1996, ran it for 14 years, and refused to submit its program to government censors at launch.
