Pokémon Pokopia passes 5 million sales, second only to Mario Kart World on Switch 2

Nintendo and The Pokémon Company confirmed on August 14, 2026 that Pokémon Pokopia has sold over 5 million copies since its March release. That places it second on Switch 2, behind Mario Kart World (15 million) and ahead of Donkey Kong Bananza (4.78 million). The Switch 2's installed base stands at 23.68 million, giving Pokopia a roughly 21% attach rate.
