Shelved for a $30 million tax write-off, Coyote vs. Acme hits theatres 28 August after 25 million trailer views

Warner Bros. Discovery shelved the finished Looney Tunes hybrid in November 2023 for a $30 million tax write-off. Ketchup Entertainment bought it in a deal reported near $50 million. The trailer has drawn over 25 million views, per Deadline. Ketchup opens the Dave Green-directed film in US theatres on 28 August 2026, after a San Diego Comic-Con premiere on 25 July.
