Federal Judge Gives Google One Week to Open Play Store Search to Rival App Stores

Judge James Donato ordered Google to surface third-party app stores in Play Store search results for queries like "store for apps," rename a "view" button to "install," and remove an interstitial prompt he called purposeless friction.
