NRL tables £7m-a-year Super League bid; clubs set to reject as undervalued
The NRL has offered Super League around £7m per season for five years, taking a 10% stake each year. The proposal includes DAZN joining Sky Sports as a broadcaster, with Sky screening three weekly matches. Super League clubs, informed on 13 August 2026, are expected to reject the opening bid at a meeting the following week, believing the competition is worth considerably more.
