BDO USA faces second music-artist lawsuit as Romeo Santos sues for $2.3 million

Romeo Santos sued accounting firm BDO USA on 12 August for at least $2.3 million, alleging gross negligence left him with unpaid tax bills. BDO previously settled a 2022 lawsuit from Fat Joe, who accused the firm of a fraud with hallmarks of a Ponzi scheme. No court has ruled on Santos's allegations. BDO has not publicly responded.
