Netflix closes Night School Studio less than two months after Unhinged shipped

Netflix is shutting down Night School Studio, developer of horror title Unhinged, less than two months after the game's release, Variety reported on 13 August 2026. Netflix acquired the studio in 2021. Helsinki-based Moonloot, founded in 2022 and with no released title, closes in the same round. Netflix has not disclosed reasons or employee numbers affected.
