Federal judge sends Cascio siblings' child sex trafficking claims against Michael Jackson estate to private arbitration

A Los Angeles federal judge ruled the Cascio siblings' sexual assault lawsuit against the Michael Jackson estate must go to private arbitration. Judge Hernán D. Vera found a 2019 settlement's arbitration clause binding, writing: "Although the allegations are horrific, the court is without discretion to do aught but enforce the language of the arbitration clause." The siblings allege Jackson abused and trafficked them from the late 1980s until 2009.
