John Carpenter to host film screenings at Academy Museum ahead of 'The Horror Show' exhibition

John Carpenter will host three nights of screenings of his films at the Academy Museum of Motion Pictures in Los Angeles, beginning 26 September 2026. The series coincides with the opening of a new museum exhibition, 'The Horror Show.' Carpenter, director of Halloween and The Thing, is also set to receive the Luminary Award at the museum's annual gala on 17 October.
