Doja Cat called Tyga a "penis" during a livestream on 12 August 2025, saying "Tyga is a penis for making an AI album," Billboard reported. Tyga told VIBE he used an AI generator for '80s synths and a guitar solo on *$tarface*, but said all writing and vocals were his own. The two previously collaborated on Hot 100-charting singles in 2019 and 2022.
