Watermelon Pictures sets September 18 US release for 'Traces of Home' as its documentary slate grows

Watermelon Pictures, the Chicago distributor founded in 2024 by brothers Hamza Ali and Badie Ali, opens Colette Ghunim's debut 'Traces of Home' in US cinemas on September 18 at NYC's Angelika, expanding to LA on September 25 and further cities through October. The DOC NYC Grand Jury Prize winner joins a slate including Oscar nominee 'The Voice of Hind Rajab' and Sundance premiere 'American Doctor', per Deadline.
