Ruth Patir's "(M)otherland," never shown at Venice, gets US premiere at Jewish Museum

Ruth Patir's multi-channel video "(M)otherland," installed at the Israel Pavilion at the 2024 Venice Biennale but never publicly shown after the pavilion closed amid opening-day protests, will have its US premiere at the Jewish Museum in New York, running December 18, 2026 through June 7, 2027. The museum acquired the work in December 2024, before any visitor had seen it.
