Former Luma AI Dream Lab head Verena Puhm launches self-funded AI production company Matriarch

Verena Puhm, most recently Head of Dream Lab LA at Luma AI, has launched Matriarch, a self-funded Los Angeles production company developing AI-native and hybrid productions. The four-project slate spans drama series 'Colors in the Dark', animated comedy 'All the Leading Men', horror feature 'G-Pigs', and short-form series 'Chomper Romp', the latter in financing discussions. Producer Morenike Dosu, formerly of MPC, Framestore and DreamWorks, joins the company. Deadline first reported the launch.
