Pokémon Bank to shut down 25 February 2027 — untransferred Pokémon will be lost

The Pokémon Company will end Pokémon Bank, its Nintendo 3DS storage app, on 25 February 2027 at 7pm PST. Any Pokémon remaining in Bank after that cannot be transferred out and will disappear, the company warned. Bank, launched in 2013, outlasted the 3DS eShop closure in 2023 and the end of 3DS online play in 2024. Players must move collections to Pokémon Home before the cutoff.
