Erykah Badu Sets August 28 for First Album in 15 Years, Co-Produced With the Alchemist

Erykah Badu and producer the Alchemist will release their debut collaborative album on August 28 via Control Freaq/Young, Badu's first full-length in 15 years. The pair co-produced the project over 18 months in Dallas and Los Angeles. It was originally slated for August 29, 2025, but was postponed with no new date confirmed until now. Pitchfork reported the announcement.
